Spiritual Sounding Board – This is your place to gather and share in an open format.
The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it, for he founded it upon the seas and established it upon the waters.
Who may ascend the hill of the Lord? Who may stand in his holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not lift up his soul to an idol or swear by what is false.
He will receive blessing from the Lord and vindication from God his Savior. Such is the generation of those who seek him, who seek your face, O God of Jacob.
Lift up your heads, O you gates; be lifted up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, O you gates; life them up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in.
Who is he, this King of glory? The Lord Almighty – he is the King of glory.
May the peace of the Lord Christ go with you: wherever he may send you;
may he guide you through the wilderness: protect you from the storm;
may he bring you home rejoicing: at the wonders he has shown you;
may he bring you home rejoicing: once again into our doors.

What a sermon this is!! Beauty from the fantastic picture to the final song. If I didn’t get out of my seat to go to worship, my heart is already refreshed in His Spirit.
This has been my go to song this week, as the abuser comes to instill fear. It’s on repeat in my car, but finding the video to go with it was sent by an Awesome God.

Thank you, Brenda!
Brenda R. – I’m glad that you have been able to find some peace amidst the fear. But, I really wish you didn’t have to live with the fear.
I’m on holiday in London at the moment and we went to All Soul’s Church, which was where John Stott used to preach. I’ve heard of him but am not familiar with his teaching.
Enjoy your time in London, Kathi!! I’m sure you are enjoying the weather there better than the heat in Portland.
Wow, Kathi, London!!!
I hope you bring back pictures.
