According to sources at SGMSurvivors.com, members from SGM Fairfax have voted to sever ties with Sovereign Grace Ministries (SGM). The news of SGM Fairfax follows closely behind Covenant Life Church whose members also recently voted to leave the fold. The numbers of churches leaving SGM behind have accelerated since the recent lawsuit.
I am still waiting for official word about the amended lawsuit that was reportedly filed possibly late Friday. Stay tuned!
UPDATE 6:35 PM Pacific: Jenn Grover has posted at SGMSurvivors.com that Chesapeake has voted to leave as well. Two churches, Fairfax and Chesapeake, have voted today to cut ties with Sovereign Grace Ministries.
